Mark of Darkness Chapter 01 Cover FINISHED!

Hai!
After various experiments to test stuff i will use in the actual Manga, i'm finally done with the Cover of the First Chapter for Mark Of Darkness!

No references used

The word "Play" has more than one meaning: 2 of those fit Mark of Darkness, as you can guess by this Cover, and that's why i chose this name.
It also is, of course, the button you press when a movie starts.

I chose this complex pose and perspective because i felt they were the most suitable for this character, even though this was definitely a hard to draw pose, especially because i never use references so i try and see what "feels" correct! xD
Also, i love challenging myself to step up my skills!

My intent with this illustration was to show and hint at what the main themes of Mark Of Darkness will be, while at the same time presenting the first main character introduced (yep, there's more than one! *-*)

So yeah, hope this gives you an idea of what to expect and now that i'm done with the Cover i can finally start working on the actual Manga!
But i'll also take my time to study the characters and keep practicing on my weaknesses in order to improve my drawings *-*



I'll keep you updated about this whole thing, please let me know what you think about this work, i put a lot of effort and dedication into this, as this is my second illustration ever (as you can see by my gallery i basically just sketch, i rarely used to complete anything or any illustration.. which, of course, is going to change from now on )
