The First Chapter of my Comic is now ONLINE as a Motion Comic, with Voice Acting!
Which means: open the youtube video, set it to full screen, sit back and enjoy watching, no reading thanks to the voice acting and no scrolling required, just relax and enjoy it! (At the moment only Chapter 1 is online)
Oh, and if there's a good female voice actress please let me know, i need one for Charnel! (she doesn't speak that much, only a couple of lines, i voice acted her myself for the moment)

Basically it's a way to make a couple of bucks for people who provide regular content, such as Webcomics or Youtube Videos (Motion Comics included), rather than a single fundraising before starting a project (the way kickstarter, indiegogo, etc work)
You can decide how much you want to donate every time i update Mark of Darkness (i will also resume making Tutorials and Videotutorials as soon as i can), and if you fear the donations could go out of control if i upload too frequently, don't worry: you can set a monthly limit, so that you will never donate more than you want to.
You know, i'm working full-time on this Project, which is getting bigger and bigger and which is and will always be FREE, so if i could make a couple of bucks to keep doing what i love and still be able to at least survive (which means eating and having a roof) it would be awesome!
I really want to make of this Project my full-time job, i've been working on it for months and still feeling more and more excited every day when i work on it!

Why did i decide to Voice Act Khayos?
No one could possibly know the character and how he acts better than the one who designed him (me), and i also found out that by voice acting him i got to know him even more than i did, i had a blast and am almost done voice acting the entire prologue!
I already bought a nice microphone for my youtube videos a year ago, so the sound quality shouldn't really be a problem, i just hope the voice acting will be as good as the quality!

You'll find out my voice and accent/way of speaking in general will sound waay different than my youtube videos, because i tried to simulate the way khayos would speak, which is definitely different from my voice. I see it's getting easier and easier to speak in this way, as i keep voice acting him, so i hope to keep improving here as well!

I think i should be able to make a video comic for every chapter i'll draw and write, and to voice act khayos every time.

I also think mark of darkness, especially the prologue, will benefit a lot by this video comic format, and especially the voice acting will be immensely useful to avoid having to read the many lines of dialogue there are in this prologue (basically a monologue), which is why i decided to go ahead and do everything by myself instead of waiting. And anyways i really am enjoying voice acting, and one of the main reasons is that, as i earlier said, you get to know your characters waay more when you have to reproduce convincingly how they act and behave/talk.
On top of that, i just have no guarantee that the voice actor for khayos would be always the same, which is why i decided to do it: khayos is a key character, and his voice can't change.
I for one hate when a person doing the voice over for a certain character changes (in english movies with italian voice overs)... the character is just perceived as a completely new one.

So i'm willing to add voice acting to my interests and willing to put in the effort and dedication required to become a good enough voice actor to be able to voice act khayos nicely.
